Local Girl Turns Birthday Party Into Fundraiser

Mary Jodry is getting ready to celebrate her 9th birthday, and rather than having a birthday party, she asked to have a fundraiser birthday to help the Ashley Lauren Foundation.

Mary participated in Kidz 4 Kidz as well, which is the theatrical arm of the Ashley Lauren Foundation. They perform at fundraising events throughout the year and have made a big difference for kids in New Jersey battling cancer.

Mary's birthday fundraiser will take place Saturdayat Silver Ball Museum on the boardwalk in Asbury Park from 2:00pm to 6:00pm and you are encouraged to participate. There is also an opportunity to help the Ashley Lauren Foundation by purchasing pinball tickets in advance.

So, hopefully you can visit the boardwalk and make a donation in lieu of a gift, or visit the Ashley Lauren Foundation website to make a donation if you can't make it to the party. Great job, Mary!
