Claiming we are suffering enough and are stressed to the max, they're asking for us to be able to continue to social-distance at area parks.

With this pandemic possibly continuing into the heart of spring and maybe even summer, Senator Declan O'Scanlon, Assemblywoman Serena DeMaso, and Assemblyman Gerry Scharfenberger (from our 13th District) are speaking the thoughts of many of us:

How will be be able to enjoy any fresh air and sunshine with our kids (and dogs) if we can't at least enjoy some nature?

Many of our parks are really, really huge and there is plenty of room to social distance. NJ has proven to be, overall, pretty compliant with all the new directives. But, both mentally and physically, not being able to go anywhere for our own patch of fresh air, sunshine, and grass could prove more than we can handle.

If anyone isn't following the distancing rules, you could punish those particular groups, but why not allow the rest of us to individually grab a little slice of nature?
