Local Teen Soccer Teams Heading to Nationals

The US Club Soccer National Cup XIV Finals kick off this Friday, and three local youth teams are representing Monmouth and Ocean Counties!

The Ocean Township United Soccer Associations’ Boys Spartan soccer team will compete in the U14 group, the Toms River SA Girls Everton team will compete in the U15 category, and the Freehold SC Boys Phantom team plays in the U17 group.

Each local team will take on other regional and state champion teams from across the country.

The championship tournament runs from July 17-20 at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana.

Considering how young these athletes are, it's crazy impressive that they're competing on a national level! Some of them might even be U.S. National Team members in the making!
