Longest Resident at MCSPCA is Finally Adopted!
Alize spent most of her life at the shelter -- FIVE YEARS! Now she finally has a forever home.
This precious and sweet girl whose name is pronounced AL-ee-zay, was featured at least two times as our Point Pet of the Week over the years. She has spent five long years looking for a home through the Monmouth County SPCA -- becoming the shelter's longest resident.
Part Doberman and part AmStaff, she couldn't have been a gentler, more wonderful pet...yet she kept getting passed by. Now, at around 6-years old, Alize has can call the place she is living her FOREVER HOME.
You see, one of the volunteers at the Monmouth County SPCA decided to foster her until she could find a home....but when no one else would take Alize, this wonderful person decided to officially adopt this wonderful dog.
If you would like to help foster a dog or cat to give them a break from shelter life, email Fostering@monmouthcountyspca.org for all the info. (I have fostered shelter animals from there and it was a great experience and we got to have some extra pets in our home!)
Special thanks to Sophie Gamand for the incredible flower photo of Alize!
