Lou & Liz Visit Benefits Ashley Lauren Foundation

We had a visit on the morning show from Alyssa Lego who had the opportunity to co-host with us because of an auction bid that benefits The Ashley Lauren Foundation.

Alyssa's family's bid was the top one at the recent Butterfly Ball, meaning she got to be our co-host on Tuesday's show, and we had the opportunity to find out just how many accomplishments this 13 year old girl has already achieved.

First of all, she is the reigning USA National Miss New Jersey Junior Teen 2016 and she has worked with many charity groups. As a matter of fact, she has created her own charity called Hello, My Name Is, which is an organization with a mission to remove labels & negative stereotypes for children & teens with special needs.

Alyssa is very interested in broadcast journalism and certainly has a very bright future ahead of her. Thanks to the Lego family for their generous donation to the Ashley Lauren Foundation, and thanks to Alyssa for doing such a great job on the show and being an inspiration to us all.
