Manasquan Fireman’s Fair is a Local Tradition
It's that time of summer....when locals and tourists alike head to the Fireman's Fair in Manasquan for 5 evenings of fun!
Mallard Park is the place to be for rides, games, food, and so much more fun beginning tonight. Over 30,000 people come out each year to the annual Fireman's Fair in Squan.
Carousel, Space Train, Fun House, Dragon Wagon, Giant Slide.....just some of the fun to be had. Then, for the tweens and teens, there's Gravitron, Pharoah's Fury, Round-up, Super Sizzler and more. And the Ferris wheel, too : )
Unlimited rides for $25, or, if you plan to go more than one night, you can get a Mega Pass for $45 each that covers you for all 5 nights. (You gotta keep that wristband on!)
For parents, each night there is a different local band or DJ for dancing and a beer tent, and delicious food vendors for all of your family members' cravings, too!.
The fair is opening nightly, tonight through Saturday night August 3rd, 2013, from 6 pm - 10:30 pm.
I know there are quite a few amusement parks around, but there is something very special about an old-fashioned local fair...and this one is done right. It's just the quintessential small town event. We'll be riding our bikes over. See you there!
