10 Big Pains Ocean County, NJ Residents Face On Memorial Day Weekend
We definitely have a love/hate relationship with Memorial Day Weekend in Ocean County.
The weekend we've all been waiting for and dreading at the same time is quickly approaching - Memorial Day Weekend!
We spend all winter cooped up in our homes just dreaming about the unofficial start of summer at the Jersey Shore...and when it finally gets here, we end up getting frustrated with all of the pains that come with it. It's all part of being human.
Who can blame us? We live in an amazing town that we can only fully enjoy during the warmer months. Naturally, other people want to enjoy it too, and it gets difficult dealing with the overwhelming amount of change that happens here in such a short amount of time.
If you're filled with excitement and panic about this weekend, you're not alone. This is a safe space for Jersey Shore residents to lament all of the "difficulties" we deal with during holiday weekends.
And of course, in the grand scheme of things, dealing with some extra people coming to our town one season a year isn't the worst problem to have. I don't know about you, but I'll gladly deal with it if it means getting to live at the Jersey Shore. Besides, we're ultimately grateful for the boost tourism brings our local economy.
I dare you to count how many times you nod your head and find yourself agreeing with these 10 pains we face during Memorial Day Weekend.
And, if you're still feeling stressed, don't forget, there's always local summer to look forward to!
