Our Point Pet of the Week, named Nova, was surrendered to a shelter after her owners could no longer take care of her. Now this Lab mix needs a loving, forever home.

The Monmouth County SPCA has reopened it's adoption doors and is busier than ever!

Nova is a 2-year old, 43-pound sweet girl who was very stressed coming into a shelter and not understanding why she was being surrendered. The MCSPCA decided to relieve that stress by sending her to a foster home so that they could learn more about her personality outside of a shelter environment.
Turns out Nova is friendly and loving and will jump into your lap at any chance she gets. She loves playing with tennis balls in the yard, going on walks with her foster parents and working on learning commands. She is an excellent pet.
Come visit Nova this week at the MCSPCA adoption center. You won't be disappointed! Just call ahead to set up a meeting time so that Nova is all ready to meet you!
