Summer is here and the school year is just about over, but the Middletown Public Schools staff wanted to give the students a memorable reminder to avoid the "summer slide".

The staffs of all 12 Middletown Public Schools got together to create this awesome video which is an educational parody of Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop The Feeling", and it's all about encouraging summer reading.

Teachers Allyson Bennett, Jamie Corso, Jesse Herbert and Colleen O'Neil put this together and included all 12 of the Middletown Public Schools, as well as principals and faculty. Many scenes were shot at local landmarks all over town.

It's a great message and an incredibly creative way to get that message across. Congratulations to everyone involved on a great job! What a great and fun reminder of the importance of avoiding the summer slide!

Check out the video and share it, as well as the great message it provides, with all your friends!
