The 14-month-old female German shepherd and NJ Seeing Eye puppy in training named Ondrea has been missing since June 24th and authorities are desperate to find her.

Ondrea was at her foster home when she pushed through a door latch and ran during a loud storm.

Authorities immediately offered $500 to anyone with information to help locate Ondrea but with no sign of the pup, the reward now being offered for any help has jumped up to $5,000.

According to APP.com, "Ondrea is nearly full-grown with black and tan markings, weighs approximately 50 pounds and can be identified with a tattoo in her right ear."

There have been organized local group searches conducted and a massive amount of fliers posted to help locate Ondrea. A professional dog tracker has also failed to locate the missing pup.

“We feel we have exhausted all options in terms of finding her loose in the vicinity and are refocusing our efforts on the possibility that someone may have her and not realize we are looking for her,” said Seeing Eye Director of Canine Development Peggy Gibbon. “We hope that increasing the reward for information leading to her safe return will raise the visibility of our search for Ondrea. We will gladly accept her back with no questions asked.”

Anyone with any information that could be helpful should call 973-525-1084.
