Monmouth County, New Jersey Towns Dominate Best Coastal Towns In America List

One thing we know for sure here in New Jersey is that we are home to some of the best coastal towns in the entire nation and a recently published list confirms just how great Jersey Shore towns are.

The very well-respected experts at Good Housekeeping put together a list of the top 46 coastal towns in America, and New Jersey is well-represented on the list.

Remember, this list covers all coastal towns in America, north and south and east and west, and the Garden State makes the list three separate times.

To be specific, Monmouth County alone had two separate towns make this prestigious list, and the other Garden State entry is in Cape May County.

So which gorgeous New Jersey Shore towns made the list of the 46 Best Coastal Towns In America?

Let's start from the south and work our way up. Amidst the greatest coastal towns in America. like Key West and Hilton Head, you find the amazing Victorian Hamlet known as Cape May.

This legendary town earns all the numerous accolades it has received over the years, including this one.

The other two New Jersey towns on the list, both in Monmouth County, seem to get less attention, but they are certainly no less deserving of the praise.

Start to celebrate Spring Lake and Ocean Grove. Your towns have both made this very impressive list.

Ocean Grove's cottages and ice cream shops get a special mention and Spring Lake is called the "perfect shore town".

We recommend you visit these towns and other great Monmouth County towns like Red Bank and Belmar during this upcoming season. Those towns could have easily made the list as well, in our opinion. but we are certainly glad the ones that did are getting their much-deserved praise.
