We have always known that New Jersey is the best of the best.

But now we have yet another headline that proves it.

Congratulations to Monmouth University for being ranked as the 23rd best college in the Northeast Regional Universities category.

In case you are not aware, "Regional Universities are described as those that 'offer a full range of undergraduate programs and some master's programs but few doctoral programs."

This is the highest the college has been ranked....EVER!

“Monmouth University is also one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduate education, according to The Princeton Review,” the university said in a statement. “The education services company features Monmouth in the new 2021 edition of its annual higher education guide, “The Best 386 Colleges.” In addition, Monmouth University’s radio station, WMCX 88.9 FM, ranked as the No. 18 Best College Radio Station in the country based on the student survey results.”

And this is BIG news...big enough for the president of Monmouth University, Patrick F. Leahy, to weigh in.

“I am incredibly proud that our commitment to academic excellence and expanded opportunity for students is reflected in our newest scorecard from U.S. News & World Report,” Leahy said in a statement. “We are welcoming our most academically prepared and diverse cohort of first-year students this fall, and the strides we are making reflect the quality of our faculty and our focus on delivering an outstanding education to our undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students.”

Congratulations to Monmouth University, its teachers, staff members and students. This is an amazing accomplishment that everyone should be proud of.
