Music Is The Medicine Show This Weekend

A show presented by MITM Theater will take place at the Strand Theatre in Lakewood this weekend.

The performance of Pl@y, which will be tomorrow (Friday) night at 8:00pm and also Saturday at 3:00pm and 8:00pm. The shows are presented by the Music Is The Medicine Foundation, a locally run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been in existence since 2010.

Over the last four years, Music is the Medicine has raised over $50,000 for various charities, including The Ashley Lauren Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Oceans of Love, Providence House, and Hurricane Sandy relief, according to the organization's press release.
