My Adventures in Cat-sitting

My best friend is on vacation, and while she's away, I'm cat-sitting her little one, Spooky.

There's only one problem. I.hate.cats.

If you're a cat person, you're probably like, 'How could you hate a little kitty, they're so cute and smooshy wooshy."

CATS ARE SNEAKY AND THEY HAVE AN AGENDA. #TeamDog

Now, I know Spooky. When I'm at my friend's place, I'll play with him or let him sit on my lap...but now...he's all up in my space!!

He's all picking at my carpet, getting cat hair and kitty litter everywhere, and let's not talk about how gross cat food is.

The thing is, I feel bad for him! He's all confused and anxious, trying to figure out where he is and what happened to his regular people!

Sometimes he'll play with me and nuzzle up against me...and sometimes he'll hiss at me and give me the evil eye...or scare the crap out of me by jumping onto the back of the couch when I'm not paying attention.

With a dog, they'll come to you when you call them...they'll hang out...sleep...you can take them for a walk...

What do you do with a cat? Nothing. You sit there, and hope it's not plotting a way to kill you while you sleep.
