NBC4 Randomly Catches Highlands Couple’s Engagement

NBC4 was on the boardwalk in Long Branch on Wednesday to get footage of the rough surf from the storm churning in the Atlantic. What they caught was far less gloomy.

While the anchor and camera crew were setting up for their shot, they noticed a couple battling the wind and rain. The man was Tyler Osborne. He had taken his girlfriend, Lisa Snyder, to the exact spot where they shared their first kiss 15 months prior. That's when Tyler got down on one knee with a ring in hand and asked Lisa's hand in marriage. She said yes.

Coincidently, Wednesday was also Lisa's 30th birthday.

Both Tyler and Lisa said that they knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together from the moment they met.
