The Monmouth County SPCA now has a location in the Prosecutor's Office and there is a hotline to call if you see someone abusing an animal.

If you see an animal being abused, neglected, or abandoned, there's now a number you can call, because Monmouth County now has an Animal Cruelty Hotline: 877-898-7297.

The Monmouth County SPCA (MCSPCA) has a Law Enforcement Division that is now located in the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.

Each municipality and police department in Monmouth County is now required to designate a municipal humane law enforcement officer. The MCSPCA Humane Law Enforcement Division is led by Chief Ross Licitra.

The MCSPCA is the first organization among the counties in our state to initiate a dedicated line and continues to be set the gold standard for other law enforcement divisions to model after.

Let's get those that are cruel to animals, or neglectful, off the streets and keep all animals safe!

Spread the word about this new number and be sure to keep it handy in case you ever see something that should be reported.
