2 Stunning New Jersey Beaches Make The Latest Best Beach List
There are a lot of "best beach' lists floating around these days, and we expect to dominate each one of them. If you think New Jersey should top all of these lists, this one might disappoint you.
We are very sensitive about our amazing Jersey Shore beaches, and while we should be thrilled that two great New Jersey beaches made this list of 20, deep down we know more of our beaches should have made it.
The list we're talking about this time around was put together by Cheapism, and it's a good list that focuses on East Coast beaches. Cape May made it on the list, and that's always a great choice.
Ocean City also was honored on this list, and you can never go wrong with a place like that. But what about all the others?
I think specifically Monmouth & Ocean Counties get overlooked way too many times on lists like this.
There are great beaches like Point Pleasant, Belmar, Seaside Heights, and Sandy Hook just to name a few off the top of my head. There are a dozen more that could easily have made the list.
I will say, some of the non-Jersey beaches that did make the list, like Miami Beach, Florida, Jones Beach, NY, and Nags Head, North Carolina are pretty amazing, and you can't complain about great places like those.
Maybe we shouldn't be greedy. New Jersey does represent 10% of this list of twenty. That is good, but it could have been better. Sorry, I was trying to not be greedy. That didn't last long.
