It's pretty likely that when you think burgers, your first thought may go directly to one of the great food strengths here in the Garden State, the mighty diner.

It's hard to imagine having a conversation about the best cheeseburger in the land here in New Jersey without thinking we're talking about one of our great diners. Newsflash, it's not a diner.

At least it's not according to the well-respected foodies at the website Lovefood, who took the New Jersey best cheeseburger topic in a different direction.

They say if you want to enjoy the best cheeseburger in the Garden State, then you're going to have to head to a local chain named Diesel & Duke.

They have locations in Princeton, Montclair, New Brunswick, and Jersey City, and they are the home of The Standard. It's a burger the food experts say you don't want to miss.

And, while the burgers at Diesel & Duke are certainly amazing, you can simply never go wrong with a juicy cheeseburger at your local diner. I'm partial to Brick Diner, and please feel free to let us know your favorite.

So congratulations to Diesel & Duke, and all the great diners that serve up those amazing cheeseburgers day and night. We love you all.
