New Jersey County Makes Top Three Most Expensive In America

If you're buying residential land, you should know that you live in a state that is home to one of the most expensive counties in the entire nation.

No one needs to tell you that living in New Jersey is not a cheap proposition. Everything is more expensive here than just about anywhere else on the planet.

So it should come as no surprise that if you are interested in purchasing residential property, it's not going to be cheap.

But when you think about all the ridiculously lavish and expensive places throughout this country, and you consider all the over-the-top playgrounds of America's rich and famous, it might be hard to imagine a New Jersey county in that mix.

Not only is this county in the mix, but it's pretty close to the very top of the heap when it comes to the price tag for residential property.

The New Jersey county that made the list actually comes in 3rd on the list of the most expensive residential real estate counties in the nation. This may not be a time for congratulations, but we'll do it anyway. Congratulations to Hudson County.

The folks at Lawn Love crunched the numbers and the only two counties in the entire country more expensive for residential real estate are San Fransisco County in California and Kings County in New York.

Hudson County has the 8th highest residential real estate prices and the 2nd highest taxes in the country, according to the report.
