Why We Should Ignore The Absolutely Stunning New Jersey Easter Calorie Total
Bathing suit season is coming up way too quickly and many New Jersey residents are full swing into their spring diet. And then comes Easter Sunday.
We know that not everybody celebrates Easter in New Jersey, and we know that those who do don't always throw the diet completely out the door for the day.
But if everybody did celebrate, and everybody ate whatever the wanted, the calorie total for the Garden State is actually mind numbing.
Good Housekeeping once did a summary of all the potential calories that were out there for the consuming on an Easter Sunday, and the number is pretty unbelievable.
When the experts started adding up the numbers, and looked at things like the brunch, the main Easter meal, the dessert, and those handfuls of jelly beans we all indulge in, their calorie counter nearly exploded.
Do you want to know what it reads? How about a whopping, belt tightening 5735 calories. Makes you want to put that deviled egg (60 calories) down, right?
And then you consider how many people in the Garden State celebrate Easter. Let's say for arguments sake that its about 5 million people.
That gives us the two numbers we need to estimate the number of Easter calories the Garden State consumed yesterday. Let the calculating begin.
Sit down. Here comes the potential calorie total estimate for New Jersey for Easter 2022. How about 28,675,000,000? And, yes if you're saying out loud it's billion with a "b".
Having said that, we all know that you can't be on a diet every day, and if we learned anything from COVID, it's that there is nothing more special or important than bonding with those we love.
And if that happens to be over a big, beautiful homemade meal, then so be it. Today we order a salad, hit the treadmill, and rejoice in the great weekend we had together with those closest to us
The Garden State total on that yesterday? Priceless.
