If You Want Fun In New Jersey One Study Says You Came To The Wrong Place
Summer has unofficially begun here in New Jersey, and we are proud to say that nobody does summer better than we do. Just based on what New Jersey can provide in the summer months, you'd think we were the most fun town to visit in the whole nation. But we are not.
There is no doubt that things get a little quiet for us here in the winter, but the spring and fall are busy and fun, and of course, the summer is legendary.
We've already had a big summer weekend in the books, and the rest of the summer promises to be amazing, so when it comes to fun, absolutely no one does it better than we do here in the Garden State.
Here's the problem. According to a recent study published by WalletHub, everything I just said about New Jersey fun is absolutely, unequivocally not true. The data says we overestimate our fun in this state in a very big way.
As a matter of fact, there are literally a dozen states in our great nation that are more fun than we are here in New Jersey, at least according to the study.
It took into account things like nightlife and entertainment and recreation. When the dust settled on the scrambling of these numbers, New Jersey turns out to only be the 31st most fun state in America.
Nobody better tell the people in Seaside, Point Pleasant, Belmar, and a dozen other Shore towns. They seem to be having a great time. Maybe it's better for all of us if we can keep it a secret. It's already crowded enough around here.
