Here in New Jersey, we are good at pizza, we are good at bagels, and apparently, we're pretty good at charm, too.

We're so good at the charm that a beautiful and quaint New Jersey town has been listed as being among the top 23 "Most Charming and Historic Downtowns" in the entire country.

With the summer season rapidly approaching, our New Jersey towns, especially the charming and historic ones, are going to be basically invaded by tourists wanting a little piece of that New Jersey charm.

It would be a difficult task, we think, to narrow all the great and charming downtowns in New Jersey to just a few.

That is what Love Exploring did, but they made it even tougher. They narrowed the whole country down to 21 charming and historic downtowns, and one gorgeous New Jersey town made the list.

Granted, this town is the town in New Jersey that arguably gets the most national attention, along with Atlantic City, on the national stage. But that certainly doesn't diminish the honor.

Congratulations to the lovely Cape May for being named among the 23 most charming and historic downtown areas in the entire nation.

There is really no room for argument here. When it comes to charm, there are few towns that could equal Cape May, and as for history? That goes without saying. It's a town that is as close to living history as you can get.

Congratulations Cape May for representing New Jersey on this great list.
