How CRAZY is this?  Imagine you go on a hike with your family, you get woozy, hit your head, break your nose and pass out.  As you start coming to, you see your favorite actor from Modern Family reviving you.  WTH?!?!?  That is exactly what happened to this New Jersey woman when she passed out near actor Julie Bowen of "Modern Family" at Arches National Park in Moab, Utah.

At first Minnie was feeling great. It was a bucket list item for her to go hiking on this scenic trail at Arches National Park in Moab, Utah.  Minnie and her husband, Shaji and their son Brandon went to Utah to see the Delicate Arch which is a natural wonder. It is 46 feet high and 32 feet wide making it the largest free standing arch in the national park.

It was an exciting day and toward the end of the trail and before they reached their goal destination of the arch itself, Minnie started to get dizzy.  She did not want to slow her husband and son down so she told them to go without her while she sat down on a rock for a rest. Then with her head in her hands she started to pass out.  Minnie, all alone suddenly fell face first onto another rock, breaking her nose and cutting her skin.
That's when Julie Bowen, The Modern Family mom who played Claire Dunphy on the hit series, her sister and a guide ran to Minnie to help.  They lifted her up, hydrated and revived her. When Minnie opened her eyes to see her favorite actor making sure she was OK she could not believe her eyes.
Minnie told a CNN reporter, "They could have just ignored me, passed on, but they didn't," She could have gone on -- she must have had a busy agenda that was disturbed because of me. They treated me, a stranger, with love and respect."

It turns out Minnie is a diabetic and her sugar went too low.  She was also severely dehydrated. She did break her nose and also need five stitches to close her wound.  It could have been so much worse if she was not sitting down at the time of passing out!
As she gained focus, and got some on the spot treatment from Julie's sister who was luckily a doctor, Minnie asked for a photo. Julie said "of course" and gave her a big hug.  How amazing that Julie's sister, Annie Luetkemeyer is a doctor and was at the right place at the right time!  WOW, if that isn't fate I don't know what is!

They always say don't meet your heroes but I bet Minnie would disagree with that statement!  Julie and Annie stayed by Minnie's side until her husband and son came back for her.  No doubt Minnie is a fan for life and I am too!
