New Jersey’s Favorite Thanksgiving Side Dish
Any concern about COVID-19 is not stopping me from eating my face off during Thanksgiving! How about that for an opening sentence? I am the type of person who diets the entire month of November just to prepare for a feast on Thanksgiving day. Of course, Thanksgiving isn't just about the food but I can't help but think about the spread my family and I will devour. Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, mac n' cheese, corn, buttered rolls... I can't wait! Also... I am now salivating... YIKES!
The career website Zippia used Google Trends data to determine every states favorite Thanksgiving side dish. Not including New Jersey, ten states chose mashed potatoes, which was the top choice. Mac n' cheese, green bean casserole and rolls were among the other American favorites but still not New Jersey's favorite. Many southern states love Mac N' Cheese and the west coast loves mashed potatoes. The most interesting favorite was Maine. Mainers say a side salad is the best Thanksgiving side dish....TERRIBLE CHOICE....BOOOO! More details on the article... click here!
Okayyy.... Now New Jersey. Zippia's research says stuffing is our favorite Thanksgiving side dish. Pennsylvania and New York also love stuffing. Stuffing can be cooked many ways so I would love to hear some of your recipes. Comment on our Facebook page or tap chat on our 94.3 The Point App! Also what is your favorite Thanksgiving side?!
