New Lion Cubs Named at Six Flags Great Adventure

Two African lion cub brothers were born at Six Flags Great Adventure in January, and thanks to fans of the theme park, they now have names.

After 4,000 votes on Great Adventure's Facebook page we can now call the lion cubs Kanu and Kondo. Kanu means "wildcat" and Kondo means "warrior."

These new names and all of the lions name's at the Wild Safari have an African origins.

Small and cute now, Kanu and Kondo will grow to be nearly 500 pounds!

We'll get to see these guys up close beginning this Spring on the Safari Off Road Adventure in Camp Aventura.

The park opens April 12.
