New Parkway NB Exit to Rt. 70 Opens

Travel is about to get a little easier if you live in the Brick/Lakewood area!

After months worth of construction, as of yesterday the ramp from the northbound Garden State Parkway to Rt. 70 was open to traffic, using new exit numbers 89A and B.

It's a little hectic in the area, with entrance and exit ramps seemingly all together, but at least it's an option now!

Drivers previously had to exit at 83 and take Old Freehold Rd/New Hampshire Ave. or exit at 90, and take Chambers Bridge Rd. several miles out of the way to get to that heavily traveled section of Rt. 70.
