New Study Connecting You with Your Cat

You know how you always felt that special bond with your cat and nobody believed you?  Now, there is a new study that confirms your connection with your feline friend.  According to a new study published in the online journal Scientific Reports, you can communicate with your cat by blinking slowly as they would when they want to communicate affection.  This is the first study to investigate the cat-human communication behavior of blinking slowly.  Start practicing your slow blink and mimicking a “cat smile,” which is described as an “eye-narrowing facial expression” if you want to communicate with your cat.  Maybe practice in the mirror first.  They may reciprocate the gesture and now you have established a way to connect with your feline companion.  Click Cat Blinking to read more about the study.  So now you can tell everyone that didn’t believe in your special bond with your cat, “I told you so!”
