Is it possible that New Jersey residents are not among the most exhausted people in America? One study says so, but I don't agree.

New Jersey Is Not Among America's Most Exhausted States

If you live in New Jersey, you know there are very few things about a typical day in the Garden State that don't exhaust us.

And yet,  a study reported at Juice Plus has New Jersey far away from the top of the list of the most exhausted states in America.

New Jersey Residents Are Not Exhausted?

To be more specific, New Jersey ranks as the 36th most exhausted state, and in my mind, that's almost impossible.

Here are some of the things that exhaust New Jersey residents daily:

#1 Traffic

#2 Bills

#3 Crowded stores, restaurants

#4 Construction/road closures

#5 Work/home balance pressures

And those things were off the top of my head. If I spent a minute thinking about it, the list would be triple that size.

How Are The Most Exhausted States Determined?

You must be wondering, like I was, how the exhaustion level of each state was determined. Here's how the researchers did it.

They used categories like mental fatigue, nutritional fatigue, and sleep fatigue to discover each state's exhaustion score.

The states that had the highest numbers, and are therefore the most exhausted in the nation, are Utah, California, and Louisiana.

Vermont, Hawaii, and Delaware are the lucky states that are least exhausted in America. Personally, I think New Jersey got robbed on this one. We want credit for our exhaustion.
