Stewart is never without a good joke and announced that it was the first time the band played live and warned the crowd to "lower their expectations", according to the report.

The event drew a big crowd, not only inside the brewery but on the sidewalk outside as well.

Stewart is one of the more beloved New Jersey residents. He was born in New York but grew up in Lawrenceville, and of course, currently lives in a gorgeous home in Colts Neck.

He returned to the stage that so many fans know him best for, The Daily Show, earlier this year, and he continues spending his time helping local charities and causes.

Reviews from fans and musicians in attendance reportedly were very positive for the beloved celebrity's performance. We love Jon Stewart and hope the band plans more performances so more fans can check it out.
