We all have our favorite pet peeves when it comes to driving on the roads of New Jersey, but we conducted an informal survey to find out which driving pet peeves top the list in the Garden State.
Where do I start!!Driving across three lanes to get off that exit.Blinker on and never turning.Light turns green and they must finish that email.Girls tailgating you at 70mph.These to name a few!!...Jeffrey
We asked New Jersey residents on several social media platforms and my radio show to tell us the driving pet peeve that tops their list.
True to form, New Jersey drivers had no shortage of opinions on the emotional topic, and a pattern emerged immediately.
Is Tailgating One Of New Jersey's Worst Driving Habits?
Before I reveal the results, I'd like to contribute my biggest pet peeve on New Jersey roads. Get off my a$$! Tailgaters in New Jersey are, in my opinion, the worst and most dangerous drivers in the state.

Here are the New Jersey driving pet peeves according to Garden State drivers. We'll list the top 5, but there were many more:
#5 Left lane slow drivers (9%)
#4 Passing in the right lane (11%)
#3 The "Jersey Slide" (11%)
#2 Beeping when the light turns green (13%)
#1 Tailgating (31%)
Other noteworthy pet peeves included passing on the shoulder, no blinkers, and running a red light. Here's a funny one,

All of these gripes are valid. Maybe we can all do a better job of having a little patience on the roads of New Jersey. Enjoy the ride for a change.
