In the Garden State, we love almost all pizza, but we wanted to discover the most hated pizza topping in the state, so we asked you to tell us.

We reached out on several social media outlets to ask you which is your least favorite.
The results wound up coming down to a battle of the two most hated pizza toppings in New Jersey, anchovies and pineapple.
These toppings are getting votes for two completely different reasons.
Is It Anchovies Or Pineapple?
Anchovies are simple. It comes down to taste. You either love them or hate them.
But that's not the case with pineapples. Most of us don't hate the taste of pineapple, it just comes down to tradition.
The traditional pizza lover wants a plain slice, and if there is going to be a topping, it'll be one of the traditional ones like pepperoni or sausage.
The Most Hated Pizza Topping Is Revealed
But if you start messing around with ranch dressing or pineapple, they think you have crossed a very sacred line.
Surprisingly, there were not enough pineapple haters in our survey to overtake the anchovies.
It's official, despite the Hawaiin Pie controversy, anchovies are still the most hated topping on pizza.
