The Weirdest Thing About New Jersey
I will be the first to admit that there are some weird things about New Jersey, but apparently, the two weirdest things about our state aren't weird at all.
Let's see if we can sort this whole thing out. It all starts with the fine folks at Stars Insider. They came up with a great idea. They decided to name the weirdest thing about each state in America.
New Jersey's Weird Fact Isn't As Weird As Other States
There were some really weird things talked about in certain states. For example, in Nevada, there are eight slot machines for every person who lives there. That's pretty weird.
Here's another one. Michigan is the only state with towns named both Paradise and Hell. Now that's funny. In Iowa, there are 3 million people and 20 million pigs. That qualifies as weird.

It gets even weirder. In Georgia, for example, you can get arrested for eating fried chicken with a fork. Hope you have a good lawyer. And in Connecticut, if your pickle doesn't bounce, you can't officially call it a pickle. You can't make this stuff up.

But when it got to New Jersey, there wasn't any pickle fun or pig jokes, and there were no clever Atlantic City slot machine stats.
Do you want to know what the weirdest thing in New Jersey is? It's that we have more diners than in any other state. And for good measure, we have the longest boardwalk in the world.
I can't believe I'm going to say this, but maybe we need to have some stricter pickle laws in the Garden State.
