How Likely Are New Jersey Workers To Call Out Sick Today?
After a long weekend of celebrating St. Patrick's Day, research reveals just how likely New Jersey workers are to call in sick.
Let's face it, we got lucky this year with St. Patrick's Day because we could celebrate all weekend. But there is a downside, too.
It's Going To Be A Tough Monday At Work After St. Patrick's Day
No matter how early in the weekend we started the celebration, it still ended on a day when we'd all have to go to work the next day and that stinks.
We thought it would be interesting to find out how many people in New Jersey called out sick the day after St. Patrick's Day, but we couldn't find information that specific.
What we did find were the rankings for which states the workers were most likely to call out sick on the day after a holiday and we think this is much better news for the management of New Jersey businesses than it is for the workers.
How Does New Jersey Rank Nationally For Calling Out Sick After A Holiday?
According to Zippia, New Jersey is among the states where workers are least likely to call out sick the day after a holiday.
We land in the bottom ten states. Specifically, we land at #41.That means we are either a dedicated bunch of workers, or we don't like St. Patrick's Day, and I think we all know which one it is.
