The good news: The heat wave finally broke.

The bad news: The thunderstorm that finally cooled things off has left nearly 140,000 Jersey Shore residents without power.

JCP&L is currently working tirelessly to restore everyone's power but a very helpful resource has made itself known that can be utilized in the mean time.

There are various supermarkets throughout the shore that are offering free ice and water to anyone who still does not have power.
