Hallelujah! After what seems like forever, the snow is finally melting here in Ocean County!

One of the worst parts of getting snow in NJ is the aftermath.  Sure, it is pretty when it first falls, but then you're stuck inside until a plow comes, and even after then, driving is difficult.  Not to mention, it's a slushy mess to walk on.

I mean, just look at this mess!  Sure it looks pretty, but it makes life a whole lot more difficult.  And don't even get me started on the mess it could bring inside your house!  UGH.

Simple things like grocery shopping, walking the dog, even leaving for work, become chores.  So the snow finally melting after a crazy blizzard like we just had is cause for celebration.

I don't know about you, but I am so sorry I took such simple things for granted before the snow.  Now that the ground is starting to clear, there are so many little things I can't wait to do again.  Give me my freedom back!
