Ocean Grove Named One of Best Small Beach Towns in US

Every beach town in Monmouth and Ocean Counties has its own unique charm, but one was just named one of the best small beach towns in the country!

Thrillist compiled a list of "The 14 Best Small Beach Towns in America" and Ocean Grove made the cut!

They wrote:

While not a Jersey Shore destination where you go to "drink" or "party," Ocean Grove is easily the most eye-catching beach town in the state. Why? Because of the pretty pastel canopies that jut out from the cottages in the town's Tent City. Every summer, hundreds of people spend up to $5,000 for four months of cozy, down-the-shore living in one of these canvas beauties."

There's certainly much more to Ocean Grove's charm than Tent City! There's nothing like spending a day at the beach, checking out the beautiful Victorian homes, then strolling along Main Ave. (and of course getting some ice cream from Nagle's or Day's!)

It's a great little town!

Cape May also represents Jersey on the list, though I think if it wasn't based on size, we'd have way more on the list! Other beach towns on the list include Kailua, HI; Chatham, MA, Rehoboth Beach, DE; and Laguna Beach; CA. Not bad company!
