Our Point Pet of the Week needs a forever home. Do you know someone who can give that to her?

Mocha, an 8 year old, was brought to the Monmouth County SPCA as a stray.

The MCSPCA was then able to locate her owner... but they decided to surrender her to the shelter instead of coming in to pick her up and take her back home.

Mocha is a laid back, calm dog who enjoys walks and rolling around in the grass on her back. She was reported to be house-trained in her previous home and also does not like cats.

The shelter staff says they're not sure yet how Mocha is with other dogs but it is possible that she'd prefer to be an only-dog in the home she goes to.

SadIy, it also looks like Mocha wasn't spoiled much by her last owners, so let's hope whoever adopts her will treat her with all the love in the world.
