Another one? Really?

I am not loving that the announcement of a product recall because of glass shards or metal is becoming a normal thing.

The silver lining with this recall is that if you have to throw it all away, you will have an excuse why you can't clean.

According to NJ.com, there is a major recall for bottles of scented Pine-Sol cleaners.

Clorox, the parent company to Pine-Sol, revealed that 37 million bottles of Pine-Sol could be contaminated with bacteria. Affected products were made between January of 2021 and September of 2022.

“The recalled products may contain bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, an environmental organism found widely in soil and water,” said the CPSC according to NJ.com. “The bacteria can enter the body if inhaled, through the eyes, or through a break in the skin.”

Before you run to your cabinet, you don't need to throw every single bottle of Pine-Sol out. Luckily, there are only a few specific types and scents that are affected by the recall.

No, the original pine scented Pine-Sol is not affected by this recall.

Let's take a look:

Another way to confirm if you have a contaminated bottle is to check and see if the code has an, “'A4' followed by a five-digit number less than 22249."
