A popular Monmouth County barbecue restaurant is opening another location at the Jersey Shore!

Local Smoke BBQ originally started as a competition BBQ team-turned-catering company in Red Bank. After opening a standing restaurant on Rt. 35 in Neptune, the business really took off, and there's now a second Local Smoke BBQ near the Joint Base in Burlington County.

Local Smoke is now planning to return to their Red Bank roots, opening a third restaurant! They'll take over the spot most recently occupied by Delfini, across from the Galleria, at the corner of W. Front Street and Rector Place, near the recently replaced Hubbard's bridge.

Even better, the restaurant has it's own parking lot, which is a rarity in Red Bank.

When it comes to what to order at Local Smoke, my favorite is the chopped beef brisket (it comes with Burnt Ends, which is my absolute fave) while Duzzy always goes for the pork ribs. I also really like their pulled pork, which is awesome as a sandwich. (And you NEED to get either a side of cornbread or the hush puppies. So goooood.)

I'm so pumped for this restaurant to open...which is expected to happen by May.
