It's been over a year since we found out about the closing of Clancy's Tavern. Brothers, Ed and Kevin Kelly ran the restaurant together for nearly 20 years. The bar/restaurant on Main St. in Neptune was a staple. Luckily, we are still able to support the same owners at Kelly's Tavern in Neptune City...
Now, let's welcome Sea Crab! This brand new Monmouth County business had its grand opening on January 29th and locals have nothing but good things to say. Below you can see a sweet promotional video & positive google reviews...
Guest #1 - "Wow great spot! Went with family and here’s the scoop! Roasted edamame were great, flavorful take on a favorite. Veggie sushi was generous and fresh. Clam chowder is New England style and veeerry good, had some herbs to it I loved. Fisherman’s Catch was an abundant platter with zesty breading and fresh seafood. Special of the day miso salmon was really good as well! I’ll definitely check back in here. Sean was our server and also was the bartender. He was a great, personable, and welcome character. This spot is just getting rolling so we expected a few hiccups with service as everything is understaffed. But we rolled with it and enjoyed some great seafood while we did!"
Guest #2 - "Food was great! Blackened shrimp were finger licking delicious. Clam chowder was tasty. My boyfriend generally hates spinach and devoured the side that came with his entree. Drinks were reasonably priced and tasty. We will be back."
