ZERO Simon malls will be opening their doors for business on Thanksgiving Day this year.

"In these challenging times, we made the decision that we will not open on Thanksgiving Day, instead, allowing our associates to spend the holiday with their loved ones," said David Simon, chairman, CEO and president of Simon.

And luckily, the "remaining closed on Thanksgiving Day" trend is spreading. Kohls, Walmart, Macy's and Target have also announced that they would remain closed on Turkey Day.

Here are the Jersey Shore Simon malls that will be closed this upcoming Thanksgiving Day.

  • Jackson Premium Outlets, Jackson
  • Jersey Shore Premium Outlets, Tinton Falls
  • Ocean County Mall, Toms River

All of the Simon Malls will, however, be open for Black Friday so you can still bank on enjoying a killer shopping trip....just, ya know, after you've eaten your turkey!
