What is Six Flags Great Adventure’s Polar Coaster Challenge?

Holiday in the Park is one of the best times of the year at Six Flags Great Adventure. This season, part of the fun will be a challenge for the true coaster fans.

Here's what it's all about. On Saturday, December 7, Great Adventure is letting visitors ride Nitro. But there's one catch. You can only hop on the ride wearing a tank top and shorts!

If you're just shrugging this off, the average temperature at Six Flags in early December is 35 degrees. Couple that with the fact the Nitro gets you up to speeds of 80 mph while you reach heights of 233 feet and drop a bone-chilling 215 feet.
