Slippery Morning In Spots At Jersey Shore

The first weekday of March has turned out to not be an easy one in spots all over Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Yesterday's snow and wintry mix has left a coating over vehicles, sidewalks and roadways in the area. Many in Monmouth and Ocean Counties are waking up to a shell of ice around their cars. In Ocean County, a Winter Weather Advisory  remains in effect until 9:00am.

Due to the potentially icy conditions, many schools are having delayed openings. You can get the most up to date list at Point Stormwatch. Accumulations range from a coating to a couple of inches throughout the Jersey Shore.
