Special-Needs Dog Surrendered to the Shelter

Our Point Pet of the week just needs some daily medication...and to know that she is still worthwhile despite having epilepsy.
Meet Nala, a super sweet, 65 pound, 5-year old mixed breed beauty who loves her human friends. Nala came to the Monmouth County SPCA as an owner-surrender and suffers from epilepsy which is easily controlled by daily medication and a comfy couch!

Nala is a super relaxed and friendly girl who loves long walks, toys, and treats-lots of treats!

She could possibly share her home with another dog, one that is as laid back and calm and cool as she is.

Nala is the sweetest girl who is the perfect addition to any family.

I feel like Nala would be a great dog to show some little human friends with special needs that life can be great even for those who require a little extra help and care.
