The roads here in the Garden State are full of people who are in a hurry, and most drivers believe they are in a way bigger hurry than you.

That's why you see so much tailgating in the Garden State. So many drivers think they all own the roads and you just better get out of their way.

We often see aggressive driving. We almost always see high-speed driving, and it seems to be just getting worse year after year.

The left lane here in the Garden State is not for the faint of heart. You better be going with the flow or you better be getting out of the way.

That's why a report at Cheapism is extremely surprising and pretty eye-opening for anyone who spends significant time on New Jersey's roadways.

According to the report, not only is New Jersey not among the states with the most speeding tickets, but it is also the state with the second lowest number of speeding tickets.

Believe it or not, in 2022, there is only one state that reported fewer speeding tickets than New Jersey, and that is Connecticut.

The state that reported the most speeding tickets was Ohio, with nearly 15% of drivers reporting speeding tickets. In New Jersey, that number is 5.52%.
