As you enjoy the summer days of sunshine upon us here at the Jersey Shore, make sure you remember your sunblock if you want your skin to look young.. Dermatologists have believed it would prevent wrinkling and now a study has shown that to be true.

According to the study, reported in USA Today, one application of sunscreen a day over a four and a half year period showed 24% less skin aging on the back of the hands. Participants of the study were under 55 years old. The study used a sunscreen with SPF 15.

Considering the amount of time we all spend in the hot New Jersey sun this time of year, and how hard we all work to keep ourselves looking young, this information couldn't have come at a better time.

There are, of course many important health reasons to use sunscreen, and now younger looking skin can be added to the list of sun screen benefits.
