Summer 2013

Although it has felt that way for a while now, Fall is officially here at the Jersey Shore and a bittersweet summer comes to a close.

This weekend summer 2013 will officially slip into our memories and it certainly will be a summer we'll never forget.

Anybody who visited our live shows at Jenkinson's this summer knows the feeling of wishing the summer could last forever. Well Jenkinson's is there to help with the endless summer that continues with fireworks this weekend!

So many of us are hanging on to Summer 2013. Some are hanging on harder than others, but we may have a plan that will make you feel better.

We had an awesome time doing the morning show live from the boardwalk at Jenkinson's in Point Pleasant Beach on Thursday's throughout this summer.

As soon as the invitation to Liz and Nancy to come to my house for a barbeque came out of my mouth, I regretted it. Wasn't 5 hours a day enough? Turns out we actually had fun.

Rating Summer 2013 is such a tough thing to do. Everything from sheer joy to sheer heartbreak this summer make it difficult to answer the question.

As summer winds down, I figured I'd better invite Liz and Nancy over to the house before I have to spend another year hearing about it. But that didn't mean it was easy to word the invitation.

Some people I talk to are hanging on to summer for dear life. People like me. But many others are really looking forward to the cooler fall weather and are ready to bring on the fall.

CNN recently announced their list of the 22 "can't miss" beaches in the U.S. We're happy to report one Garden State beach made the list.

As we work our way through the first week of August, we realize there is still time to squeeze plenty of summer in, but a good chunk of Summer 2013 is behind us. So, what's been the biggest memory of summer so far?

After 9 long months of very hard work by dedicated folks at the Jersey Shore, the rides returned to Casino Pier in Seaside Heights this weekend! Wacky Rooftop Golf, the carousel and arcade are also open. Plus, don't forget about Breakwater Beach water park. In order to Restore The Shore, we need to go back over the bridge and visit Seaside Heights. There's plenty of summer left!
