Drifthouse is now offering affordable family-style meals on Sundays! And it's open to the public all year round.

Who doesn't love a good, old fashioned, pass-the-plate Sunday dinner? Well celebrity chef David Burke is now offering it up at his Sea Bright restaurant.

David Burke may be a rock star chef, but he hasn’t forgotten his Jersey roots. As a restaurateur he knows firsthand times are tough, so he has added a value-conscious menu without sacrificing quality at his restaurant Drifthouse by David Burke.

This prix fixe Sunday menu starts at 4 pm every Sunday. “Sunday Suppa” is a generously portioned three-course dinner menu served family-style for $35. It includes a choice of two dishes per course:

-- First Course - Burrata, Sunday Salad, Caesar Salad, Frito Misto, Mussels and Butter

-- Second Course – Skirt Steak, Lemon Chicken, Pork Chops, Sunday Fish (chef’s choice)

-- Included in the prix fixe is a traditional bowl of macaroni with choice of one sauce - red sauce, puttanesca, cacio e pepe, wild boar Bolognese, fra diavolo.

-- Dessert (choose one) - Epic Sundae, Broken Cannolis, Cake By The Ocean and Cheesecake Pops For 2.

You can add additional courses for $12 each. Also available with an additional supplement are a two-pound Lobster Arrabiata and 8-ounce Filet Mignon.

The Sunday Suppa menu pays tribute to the Stavola family’s Italian roots. The family has owned Driftwood Cabana Club, where Drifthouse is located, since 1957 and is Chef Burke’s partner with Drifthouse.

And while the beachfront location may be fancy, Chef Burke and the Stavola family want you to know that you can depend on Drifthouse for an enjoyable night out with your family without breaking the bank. And Sunday Suppa is a meal that would make their Italian Nonna proud.

Chef Burke has this message,

“Drifthouse has enjoyed much success over the past couple of years thanks to our loyal customers and the great press we have received. We are fighting through the Covid situation the best we can. I feel very confident that with our value-driven menus, our support of, and from, the community and with our continued positive outlook we will get through to the end of the year; and when the dust settles we’ll be right back on top again. And don’t forget, we have plenty of space for holiday lunch and dinner parties.

Chef Burke has also recently introduced Nauti Mondays featuring $5 Nauti Burgers and live music; and Sushi Tuesdays at Drifthouse with sushi starting at $5 and complimentary live music on both nights.

Chef Burke is known for his award-winning whimsical presentations and has been dubbed Culinary Prankster by NYC food critics. He playfully calls his special happy hour the “Angry Hour” where you can come in after a hard day’s work with an angry edge, and he  promise you’ll leave happy.

On the menu during Angry Hour are glasses of wine, draft beer and well drinks with soda or juice at $5 each. Locally sourced Naked Oysters are $1 each, or Dressed Oysters with Lump Crab $4, U10 Shrimp Cocktail $3 each, Calamari $10, DB Cheeseburger $10, Cauliflower Piccata-style $10, Lobster Melt $16 and more.

Drifthouse is also offering a Grab-n-Gobble Thanksgiving dinner that you can order now and pick up to share with your family! CLICK HERE for details. Or, see if there's still room at the table to reserve for Thanksgiving: CLICK HERE for the menu and call (732) 530-9760.
