Sweet Dog Will Dance Her Way Into Your Heart
Sometimes adopting an adult dog is the best thing you can do.
Meet our Point Pet of the Week from the Monmouth County SPCA. She is such a Pretty Pittie!
Melon is ready for her forever home. She came to the MCSPCA with her puppies, who have all been adopted.
Melon is 2-years old, 55 pounds and was in a volunteer foster home for a while. Now she is back at the shelter and is described by her foster family as a sweet and snuggly girl who does an adorable happy dance when it’s time to eat.
Melon is also a smarty pants! She has learned the commands sit, stay, paw, beg and high-five!
Melon would do best in a home without small children and prefers to be the only pet.

And if you're more of a cat person, how about this long-haired beauty! Her name is even the cutest thing ever: Appleflower Dazzlemist!
She was found in a park, abandoned in her carrier.
She has a very sweet side and enjoys being pet and nuzzling against you. The shelter staff says this sweet cat would do best in an adults-only home with cat parents who really know their felines.
Appleflower Dazzlemist is 2-years old and needs to be an 'only' cat..
