Kelly lived with the same family for her whole life until the day she was surrendered to The Monmouth County SPCA from Freehold.

But Kelly wasn’t adapting well to shelter life at all until her foster mom came to her rescue.

Kelly would search endlessly for her family when staff and volunteers would take her outside for walks. She would go up to every car trying to escape, confused and so sad as to why she is now with us.

Fast forward to two months later and Kelly has adapted perfectly to her foster home.
She walks so nice on leash and loves playing with her toys and hanging out with her foster mom on the couch. Kelly is growing to trust humans once again and is learning that strangers aren’t so scary after all.
If you or someone you know can give Kelly a new forever home, please call ahead before going to the MCSPCA so that they can make sure the foster family brings Kelly in to meet you!
